The day is over!

Today is over and I'm so excited. My day wasn't hard it was just really long. I had a great 1B patient again, story of my life. However, my afternoon patient ended up being a class 5 which is good because I remembered to do it as an exam, which means that I just have one more exam to do the rest of the semester. With my luck though, I won't get it until the last minute!

Power Outage!!

Thursday in clinic started out really great.  I had a patient who had never been to the dentist and had never had x-rays.  WOW!!! To make a long story short, I got a full mouth of x-rays done and my patient was a class 3.  WOOHOO! It's about time, this was my first class 3 and so I was pretty excited about that.  In the afternoon, the power went out while I was working on my patient.  It was funny because I was trying to tell her that the power had gone out and so we need to leave, but she just kept saying ok, but she just stayed in my chair.  She had no idea what I was saying the whole time.  All in all, it was a good day!!!

Just Another Day!

So today didn't start out to great. My morning appointment did not show up and I couldn't find anyone to come and before I knew it, it was to late to have a pt. in my chair anyway. Good start. Some good news it that I did one of our treatment rationales that we have to do on every classification which was great because I now know what I need to do for that. My afternoon appointment was great. It was a good friend of mine and I accomplished a few of my requirements on her. It's so great to have such nice friends, what would you do without them!!!

Great Day!!

Other than having to take my pt's x-rays twice, all of them, might I add, today was a good day.  The best part about today is that my afternoon pt. cancelled last night and so our dear friend Mr. Salamon found me some one that would love to come in.  Little did he know that he gave me a class 2 and this pt. will be used for my mockboards!!!!  Amazing, I know.  For all who doesn't know what that means, rumor has it that we dental hygiene students stress for weeks about finding a mockboard pt. and here I am on the first day of clinic finding one.   It is pure luck, because I never get this lucky.  Good luck to all on finding theirs.!!!!
